Nebida is a former mining locality, a hamlet of the municipality of Iglesias, nestled between mountains and the sea. It boasts a Belvedere road, where breathtaking sunsets can be admired, providing a view of the entire Gulf of Lion coast. It is part of the province of South Sardinia, in the sub-region of Sulcis-Iglesiente. It features a unique microclimate; the air is scented with myrtle and rosemary. Nebida has markets, tobacco bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, medical services, and a post office. Everything is within walking distance, just five minutes from home. A few minutes from Nebida, you can visit, free of charge, the complex structure of Laveria Lamarmora, also known as the Colosseum of the sea, which overlooks the gulf in all its majesty; the beautiful beaches of Porto Cauli and Masua, and from here, explore Porto Flavia, the Pan di Zucchero rock, which is the tallest in Europe; the beaches of Fontanamare, Plagemesu, Punt’e S’arena; the San Giovanni Mine – Grotta Santa Barbara, and Iglesias, a city built at the foot of Mount Marganai, is a historic city, rich in cultural attractions, including beautiful medieval churches, cobblestone streets, pubs, and restaurants in the unique lanes of the historic part.
